Dog Trainer in Monroe, MI Focused on Structure, Trust, and Results

From a young age, Iโ€™ve had a natural connection with animals and a passion for understanding how they think and learn. Growing up with an Australian Shepherd helped inspire my lifelong interest in canine behavior, communication, and the way dogs respond to structure, consistency, and trust.

A dog is giving a paw to its owner.

Today, I provide structured care and dog training out of my home in Monroe, Michigan. This setting includes a dedicated training space and a spacious fenced yard, giving dogs room to train, exercise, decompress, and practice calm behavior in a controlled home environment.

Unlike a busy kennel or high-volume facility, my home-based setup allows for more individual attention and a consistent daily routine. Dogs can work on obedience, impulse control, leash manners, household structure, and calm behavior throughout the dayโ€”not only during one short session.

My approach follows LIMA principles, which means Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive. I use clear communication, humane structure, consistency, and fair guidance to help dogs understand what is expected of them.

Whether Iโ€™m working on obedience, behavior modification, boarding structure, or daily care, my goal is always the same: to help dogs and their owners build lasting, harmonious relationships based on trust, respect, and understanding.
